
About Ruth
Ruth is the founder and CEO of Women Ignited.
Many clients who have worked with Ruth describe working with her as “life changing.”
With more than 15 years working as a leadership coach, wellbeing and culture change specialist in health care systems across the globe, she has seen first hand the challenges facing many women as they navigate complex and pressured careers in healthcare.
A respected leadership development specialist, she has designed and delivered award winning leadership programmes and led successful culture transformations in the NHS. In the New Zealand healthcare system she provided critical guidance during the Christchurch terrorist attacks and the COVID 19 pandemic.
She is a sought after PCC qualified coach by women in global healthcare systems in roles spanning, clinical and corporate executive leadership through to frontline staff delivering care directly to patients. She is often asked to facilitate and support senior teams who are leading through complex change and has supported many senior teams as the New Zealand healthcare system undergoes its largest transformation in decades.
A passionate learner, Ruth has a Masters in Organisational Psychology with first class honours and a Bachelor of Education. She has continued to develop her practice with various certifications in psychometrics, positive psychology and continues to study new and emerging coaching methodologies.
Ruth is known for her signature strengths focused approach that helps women tap into their unique, underlying and energising qualities. This enables them to have the confidence and clarity to shape their work to reflect their highest strengths and values and ultimately flourish in their careers.
